PADI ASSISTANT INSTUCTOR
Are you ready to gain more experience as a PADI Professional but not sure if you are ready to become an Instructor ?
If you answer yes to this question then you are ready for the PADI Assistant Instructor Course. As a PADI Assistant Instructor you will continue building your confidence of your diving knowledge and skills and gain experience as a diving professional. You will also start learning the PADI system of diver education, interact as a scuba instructional assistant and be responsible for hands on experience teaching students.
The Assistant Instructor course is the first part of the Instructor Development Course, IDC. Once completed you will have the opportunity to move onto the second portion, Open Water Scuba Instructor course if you so desire.
Through independent study, classroom sessions and practical applications you will learn how to construct effective teaching presentations in the classroom, pool and open water. With this knowledge you will be able to conduct some PADI programs.
PREREQUISITES
* Be at least 18 years old
* PADI Dive Master or leadership level with another training organization
* 60 logged dives with experience in night, deep, and U/W navigation
* Certified for six months
* Medical clearance within the previous 12 months
* EFR Primary and secondary Care or equivalent within the last 24 months
