STORE HOURS For the next two weeks on Tuesday and Thursday nights May 13, 15, 20 and 22. we will be closing at 6:00pm due to our class in Bremen that begins at 6:30. We apologize for any inconveniences and hope that you do not make a wasted trip. HUMP DAY DIVE Thanks to all that came out to the first Hump Day Dive. This weeks dive will be at Long Lake. Our host will be Chuck Larson and we will be diving from his home. After the dive we will be heading up the street to Zimmy's. We will be meeting between 5:30 to 6:00. Come and get wet. LAKE MICHIGAN We still have a few openings left for our first dive on the big pond, Lake Michigan. We will be diving on wrecks. This is a great opportunity to get in those deep and wreck dives and as of last weekend Capt. Bob reported that from the boat he could watch the divers navigate around the wreck's. Great Visibility !! If you want to carpool we will be leaving the dive center at 6:00 am and then going to one of our local watering holes after the dive, maybe a new one ! Come get wet on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend May 25th. EQUIPMENT If you are ready to dive but are missing your tanks, they are here and ready to go. All equipment is ready except those that came in today CALIFORNIA DIVING Don't miss out on this first time ever diving Catalina and Santa Barbara Islands off the coast of California. Dive with the seals and in the kelp forest. We have 2 spots left and air fare was still very reasonable as of last week. Included in this adventure is your accommodations, food, diving and a great experience for only $ 575.00 plus your air fare. GILBOA QUARRY We will be heading to Gilboa Quarry in Ohio on Sunday June 8th. Some are already planning on camping spending the weekend so don't be left out. Never been to Gilboa, this is a good time to see what one of our local quarries have to offer. DISCOVER SCUBA This Wednesday we will be having a free discover scuba at the Elkhart YMCA May 14th at 6:30. This is a chance for you to get your family and friends acquainted with the underwater world and see what it is like to blow bubbles. Minimum age is 10 yrs old. All they need to bring is a bathing suit and towel. EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONDER By request we have moved the EFR course to Saturday June 14th. We hope that this will make it more convenient. This course is for the diver and non diver wanting to become certified in CPR and First Aid. It is a requirement for the Rescue Diver course. HAPPY DIVING !! |
